WHO MAKES YOUR ITEMS?
I, Shantel, owner and maker, make everything myself, all by hand! Sometimes I say things like "we" or "us", but in those situations I'm referring to my boyfriend Jordan, who helps me with design and business aspects, my good friend Lauren, who helps with my photography, or my army of supportive friends and family who have to listen to me drone on about Hook & Barrel all the time.
ARE YOUR ITEMS SOLD IN ANY RETAIL STORES?

CAN I GET SOMETHING IN A CUSTOM SIZE OR COLOUR?
Yes! We offer custom services, so you can order something we already make in another size or colour, or something completely different that we don't usually offer.
Pricing for items of different size or colour are often the same as the regular retail price.
For completely custom items, we'll discuss pricing right off the bat so there are no surprises for either of us later!
I LIVE IN WINNIPEG. CAN I PICK UP MY ORDER INSTEAD OF PAYING FOR SHIPPING?
Yes! If you would like to pick up your order instead of having it shipped, we can arrange for that -- just send us a message. If you've already paid for shipping, we can refund it, don't worry.
Pick-up is generally in the Tuxedo area. Delivery may be available for an additional fee.
DO YOU TEACH WORKSHOPS?
Yes! From time to time, I schedule a workshop. Details can be found on the Events page.
If you may be interested in a private group workshop, or one-on-one crochet classes or help sessions, reach out and lets arrange something!
DO YOU SELL KNIT OR CROCHET PATTERNS?
Not at this time, but there are plenty of other wonderful makers in the knit and crochet community who do! Thank you for your interest!
